Darryl began his career in the oil and gas business with Schlumberger’s offshore stimulation vessels in the Gulf of Mexico. He held various positions from engineer-in-training to vessel supervisor throughout that time. After leaving the vessels, Darryl became in-house technical support for deep water clients in and around New Orleans, LA. Two years into this, he left Schlumberger and joined Baker Hughes. At Baker, Darryl began as in-house support and eventually moved to product line sales manager for Production Enhancement in the GoM. Darryl became the sales leader for all pressure pumping product lines in North America Offshore before joining Carbo.

Tim Kriegshauser (MBA/CPA), VP Business Development, has a diverse background in business leadership. Starting out as a CPA and migrating to industry as Controller/CFO positions. He has also served in VP and Managing Director roles on a national level within the packaging industry. In 2006, Tim joined BBL Falcon to oversee the commercial development of the start-up venture which he and his partners sold to CARBO in October 2009. When joining CARBO in 2009, Tim led the integration of Falcon Technologies and Services, and in 2013 joined CARBO’s mainline business and currently leads all business development for NAM Land.

Stacy McWhorter is the Director of Sales for Foundry and Emerging Markets. With more than 18 years of experience across multiple industries, she leverages her engineering and business background to bring the right solution for customers. Stacy began her career in the energy sector where she applied her creativity and passion for maximizing value to a range of positions in operations, technical sales, digital innovation, and leadership. She next transitioned into a role at Honeywell partnering with the manufacturing industry to streamline operations and find the ideal technical solutions for long-term ROI gains.  In her current role with CARBO Ceramics, she thrives on bringing technology together with energy and vision to partner with CARBO’s clients across a wide range of applications.

Juan Diego Hiedra is an accomplished Civil Engineer and PMP-certified professional with over 20 years of experience in the Energy industry. Currently, he serves as the Director of Mining Technologies and Services at CARBO, driving growth and profitability through business development, sales, and supply chain management. His extensive background in the industry includes successful roles at American Steel Products, and Golder Associates, among others. Throughout his career, Juan Diego has consistently demonstrated his ability to leverage his expertise and interpersonal skills to drive positive outcomes for his teams and organizations.

With over 40 years of practical and applied science experience in the agronomy field, Pete currently serves as the Director of Agronomy for AgronX. In this role, he handles all business functions for the AgronX team. Prior to this role, Pete served as a corporate agronomist for Heinz, Syngenta, and Fine Americas. Outside of his professional accomplishments, Pete has been involved in production agriculture his entire adult life. He has grown numerous crops and now runs his family ranch in Carbon, Texas. Pete has a passion for the development and implementation of novel technologies to crop production enterprises with a focus on grower challenges and proven ROIs throughout the agronomic production process.

Brett Wilson received a BS in Ceramic Engineering from University of Illinois and a MS and PhD in Materials Science Engineering from Michigan State University. He started with CARBO in 2002 and became manager of R&D in 2006.  He is the inventor of 20 US Patents related to ceramic processing and ceramic products.  He helped with design and buildout of CARBO’s Technology Center in 2010.  He continues to facilitate the R&D group to support current and future sales of CARBO’s technology products as well as focusing the R&D group in development of new value add products from concept through commercialization.  

Enrico Annovi was born in northern Italy and moved with his family to Venezuela at an early age. He completed his studies in Electronic Engineering there. After a brief stint in his field, Enrico transitioned to the Oil and Gas industry, joining SLB in 1995. Over the past 29 years, he has accumulated extensive experience and held various positions including field operations, operations management, sales, marketing, account management, contracts management, and business development.

Enrico’s career has taken him across multiple countries, including Venezuela, Mexico, the UK, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Spain. In late 2018, while living in Spain, he joined CARBO as the Sales Manager for Europe and Africa. His wealth of experience enabled him to assume increasing geographical and business responsibilities. He currently oversees CARBO’s international business for Oil and Gas.

David Girouard joined CARBO in 2007 and is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing. Prior to this role, he was the Plant Manager of CARBO’s Eufaula, AL manufacturing facility. He also held roles as the Production Manager for CARBO’s Research and Development Pilot Plant and as a Supply Chain Project Engineer.  Prior to joining CARBO, David worked briefly as a design engineer and spent 4.5 years on active duty as a Naval Officer.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. 

Joy Roberie joined the organization in 2006 and was promoted in 2018 to Director of Supply Chain.  In this role, she oversees Production Planning, Customer Service and Logistics.  Prior to her current role, she worked in Customer Service as a Sales and Service Representative and shortly thereafter was promoted to Global Production Manager in 2008.  

Jodi joined CARBO Ceramics in 1998 after six years with Evans Clay Company, most recently as Logistics Manager. His CARBO career began as a research and development technician leading to his role as Quality Manager. He then advanced to the role of Production Manager followed by a promotion to Plant Manager of the McIntyre facility. Since 2018, Jodi has been Plant Manager for Middle Georgia Operations serving both McIntyre and Toomsboro sites. He has over 32 years of experience in the mining and manufacturing industry following his studies at Middle Georgia College and Georgia College.

Eric DePriest has worked at CARBO for 14 years and is currently the Plant manager for New Iberia Resin Coating Operation. Production process improvements, equipment maintenance and repair, equipment reliability have been the key roles he has held while at Carbo. Prior to working at Carbo, Eric worked in various leadership positions in oilfield equipment manufacturing and mining operations. He has an associate’s degree in industrial technology from U.L. Lafayette and achieved Six Sigma Green belt certification. 

Jimmy Smith graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1982. He spent a decade working with The Department of Defense as a test engineer, engineering supervisor, project manager, and engineering manager. Following this, he worked for ten years at a technical college and technology center as an electronics instructor and technical operations director. In 2003, he joined Carbo Ceramics as a plant engineer in Eufaula and was promoted to plant manager in 2023. Additionally, he served 11 years as a city council member, four years as a director on a local E911 board and currently serves as the interim pastor at a small Baptist church.

Brittany Broussard joined the organization in 2009 and was promoted to Customer Service Manager in 2012. In this role she oversees North American and International Customer Service and Logistics. Her team works closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Accounting and other members within the organization to ensure both internal and external customers’ needs are met. Prior to this role, she worked as a Sales and Service Representative and Supply Chain Analyst.

Mustafa Hassan is an accomplished FP&A Director with over 18 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, auditing, and strategic decision support. Skilled in financial budgeting and forecasting, Mustafa excels in risk mitigation and enhancing financial efficiency. At Carbo Ceramics, Mustafa leads a team in financial modeling, conducting in-depth scenario analysis, developing data analytics, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. With a strong background working in both corporate (Shell, ExxonMobil, and Saudi Aramco) and Big Four environment (PwC), Mustafa is adept at implementing process improvements and leveraging advanced analytics. Mustafa holds an BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston and is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA).

Jeannette serves as the Controller of Carbo Ceramics where she leads the accounting and accounts payable teams.  With over 20 years of experience in accounting, prior to joining Carbo Jeannette has held various accounting roles and managed the shared services organization in the oil and gas industry for 12 years.  Jeannette holds an B.S. in Accounting.

Sherry BeCoats brings over 30 years of expertise to our team as our HR Director. Her extensive experience includes leadership roles in global information systems firms and engineering companies, where she has been instrumental in driving organizational success through strategic HR initiatives. Sherry joined the CARBO team in 2022.

Austin joined Wilks Brothers in 2022 and serves as Director of HR Operations and Benefits. Prior to joining Wilks Brothers, he led the HR function for a private Medicare insurance firm and previously led the HR function for the largest privately held industrial gas and welding supply company in the Southeast. 

Austin received his MBA with a focus in Finance and Management from Christian Brothers University, and his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College while playing collegiate football for the Lynx. A native of Fort Worth; he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two doodles, playing golf, hunting, and CrossFit.

Jacqueline Curb serves as Recruiting Manager. She has 7 years of specialized recruiting across sales, finance, hospitality, and industrial services. Jacqueline holds an MBA from Tarleton State University and joined our team in 2021.
